Inpatient Rehabilitation

The Inpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation team is comprised of physicians, nurses, and exercise physiologists who provide treatment and instruction on how to modify your risk factors and alter your lifestyle after a heart event such as stroke or heart attack.  The treatment regimen is particularly helpful for patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass, valve surgeries, heart catheterization, balloon angioplasty or have had a heart attack, congestive heart failure, or peripheral vascular disease.

We provide:

> Monitored inpatient activity including exercise prescriptions

> Risk Factor modification and counseling

> Assistance with referring discharged patients to outpatient programs near the patient's home.

For more information about our inpatient cardiac rehabilitation program, please call (979) 776-4919.
